Lynne MacLachlan is a designer and maker of jewellery and objects based in London, UK. Her work plays with light, space and colour; vibrant geometric forms reveal ephemeral, shimmering optical patterns, challenging the boundaries of design, art and fashion. She has a passion for experimenting with the latest digital technology, using the latest tools and materials in combination with traditional techniques to find creative applications to intrigue and delight the viewer.

Employment History

Jun 2008 – present      Creative Director of Lynne MacLachlan Studio. Design studio designing and making jewellery and products, specialising in digital tools. Also offering consultancy and freelance design services to other designers and companies.

Sep 2010- 2015       Sessional Lecturer in Digital Design on Jewellery and Silversmithing course, University for the Creative Arts.
