Phase Jewellery Collection

The Phase collection was Lynne's first collection in 3D printed nylon, designed and developed 2013-2018.

The intention was to create an exciting new contemporary jewellery line that was also eminently wearable and accessibly priced. Light, durable and with the potential for vibrant colours, laser sintered nylon offered the opportunity to fulfil this idea, Lynne became one of the pioneers of using this material in contemporary jewellery and it has continued to inspire Lynne's design and making work since.

Graphic and sculptural, the collection was inspired by Moiré patterns observed on the screen while working on a different project, this creative spark became the central focus of the collection and the designs were honed into sleek cone forms, creating the best optical effects and proportions for the body. The idea of these beautiful patterns being realised in reality as the wearer moves around inspired the collections.

The first pieces of the Phase collection received prestigious Gold awards from the Goldsmiths' Craft and Design Council in their annual 'jewellery oscars' in the categories of gallery jewellery and technological innovation.

Phase pieces offer the wearer striking pieces that give visual impact but are still light and easy to wear due to the material and hollow forms, only possible with 3D printing technology. Each piece displays Moiré effects from carefully design layers of graphic patterns as the pieces are viewed from different angles, guaranteed to intrigue and delight wearer and viewer.

The Phase family was also extended into a capsule collection of silver & gold pieces, exhibiting the same signature Moiré effects with the addition of beautiful reflections and the timeless luxury of precious metals. The precious Phase Fan ring was even worn on the cover of Elle Canada by supermodel Gigi Hadid as part of a futuristic fashion editorial.
